Being a keen amatuer video and stills photographer Ive shot a lot of news items for local television and news papers but on this particular day a police officer "a sergent" obiously stressed and not in control decided to pick on me by aproaching me and physicaly pushing me in the chest.

He done this continuously without speaking to me, I was in an area well out of the way and covering the event for the local news paper.

I asked him what was I doing wrong, he didnt reply and seemed to get more agressive towards me, I became surrounded by younger less senier copper's as if ready to tackle me to  the ground.

One young copper said "just walk away mate" wich id been trying to do for some time while being pushed  by the sergent, eventually I crossed the road and continued to take shots of the crash sceane.

The photo and story made that nighta edition of the local paper, but looking back now, I wonder what that copper would have been guilty of had I have fallen from his push and hurt myself.

After all, like him I was doing  a job !
